Computer networks use different topologies to share information. A topology is a pattern (or diagram) that shows how nodes(Internet using devices) connect to each other. Computer networks have both physical topologies and logical typologies.
⦁ Physical topology – Refers to the physical layout of wires in the network
⦁ Logical topology – Refers to how data moves through the network

Types :
| Sl | Topology name | Details |
| 1 | Point to Point | One System is connected to another |
| 2 | Bus | Network line is bus , all Systems connected to  Network If any systems fails , No issue to another system network & Issue raised when bus failed at some instance after that instance network fails |
| 3 | Ring | One System is connected to another last system connects to first , circular continuous If any systems fails , issue to another system network |
| 4 | Start | Server/Network is at Middle , and all systems connects to it If any systems fails no issue to another system network |
| 5 | Mesh | Zig zag interconnection of network systems/nodes have Multiple Inputs and OutputsCables requires more, high availability |
| 6 | Tree | Like Tree branches, level wise nodes are connected |
| 7 | Hybrid | Combination of various topologies |
Daisy Chain :

One node is connected to another
